about

Album Notes
SoundScape is bound by their passion for ethnic music and together they create a musical masala that will captivate you, the listener... taking you on a journey toward unchartered lands.
Hence the title which in loose translation indicates "The Paradise of Aimless Journeymen".

This album combines SoundScape's musical compositions and rendering of ancient Indian songs and mantras beautifully fused with instrumental landscapes and traditional songs from the lead singer's own Tibet.

Le Paradis des Voyageurs Perdus:
The wind blows in my hair. The birds sing. I walk slowly in the vast plains. I travel far, far away into a rugged and lunar landscape when a heavenly voice rises and disappears into the mist.

I close my eyes, I climb the dunes, rocked by a mysterious rhythm. I escape and my mind is consumed by ancient times, where adorned women move down tortuous, flowery paths.

I escape to the sea. In the middle of the foam, I swim towards the unknown. A wave envelopes me and I am inspired by the color of the music, the color of the rain.

Small bells ring in a temple. I’m on a wispy cloud. The sun slowly rises and illuminates the earth like a grand fire. A beat emerges and a voice cuts through. It is eternity.

I am in spiritual prayer in an ethereal fluid space. A slightly mad joy comes over me. I dance and turn until ecstasy.

A breath fills me, surrounds me, I fly away. A cottony bluish mist surprises me again. Through it, I see large forms. They whisper a perpetual and mystical music.
